Default Weapon style skills

For the longest time, people who play warriors have been asking for 2 handed swords and axes, 1 handed hammers, and maybe duel wielding. Well I had this thought: instead of adding a bunch of new swords, hammes, and axes with their own stats, allow each weapon skill set 2 new skills. However they have a catch, like charm animal, when you leave town with them, they are always in effect for that weapon group. With these skills, changes to damage and speed will have to be rebalanced for those that use them, but I think people will like the overall change and it allows you to wield your weapon in a new manner, but for the cost of an extra skill.

-Great Axe: you cannot wield a shield while this skill is equipped, but your axe becomes two-handed and does more damage.
-Twin Axes: you don't weild a shield, but your 1 equiped axe becomes 2. You attack speed is increased a little.
-Light Hammer: your hammer becomes 1 handed and you can equip a shield, but it does less damage.
-Double Hammer style: you can't equip a shield, but you are now carrying 2 hammers that do less damage and attack faster.
-Anime's Sword: No shield, but your sword gets bigger and does extra damage.
-Juhanzi's Discipline (or whatever her name was from factions): You now wield two swords which attack a little faster.

If people don't want these things to be skills, I could see them as a glove rune of some sort. Maybe the more powerful the rune, either the greater the change overall, or the lesser the negative effects (less damage/slower attack speed) the rune has. If they are skills, maybe your ranks in that class will determine the changes... maybe the ranks in the weapon will anyways.

While we are on the subject, would it be possible for monks to get a similar option... their staves would be melee and they could use them in martial-arts styles... perhaps for a little faster attack. IMO something like this would blend in perfectly with smiting monks since they already have some melee oriented attacks and skills.

Pretty please.

2hand axe/sword, 1hand hammer, is good idea, and easy to add without unbalance game. The balance will be in damage and speed:

2hand axe/sword = slower atack / more damage.
1hand hammer = faster atack / less damage.

At the end the DPS (damage per second) will be the same, the cool thing is you will be using hammer skills with shield, and axe/sword skills with more damage (but slower)

Making two handed axes/swords and one handed hammers unfortuanately is a lot more complicated than just adjusting attack speed and damage. Skills would have to be made one handed only or two handed only (and added since eviscerate/exeuctioner on a two handed axe would not be a good plan) and frankly a new class with such weapons would be a better idea than trying to redo a class that works fine.
